Minor Issue - Service specific FRA SL1 (AWS) - Edge Imports and Feeds inaccessible/not running

Postmortem

On March 10th, 2023 Cornerstone engineers were alerted by internal monitoring tools for errors across the Edge Import feature. Clients hosted in the FRA SL1 AWS PRD Swimlanes had intermittent issues accessing Edge Import on their portal.

Cornerstone engineers were engaged for investigation and troubleshooting, pointing to application configuration causing higher than usual resource consumption. The config was corrected to temporarily fix the issue.

To mitigate this situation from occurring in the future and to reduce the risk of a future impact Cornerstone is actively working internally to review the incident with the application team with the help of vendor recommendations. Internal optimizations have been discussed with the appropriate application teams to avoid the recurrence of this incident.

Resolved

The CSOD Technology Team observed an issue affecting the Feed Servers on this swimlane. The problem began at 1:55 pm Pacific Time and was resolved at 4:05 pm Pacific Time. During this time, clients may have experienced issues accessing Edge Imports or delays with the processing of their data feeds. Please contact Global Product Support if you are still experiencing problems with your data feeds.
