10-08-2021 Incident Report 

On October 8th, 2021, at 9:26 AM PST, Files.com detected issues with multiple system services.  Our investigation found that a new server that was deployed had a configuration issue.  The server was immediately taken offline and the system was returned to full operation at 10:36 AM PST. 

 Extensive review and testing has been conducted by Files.com staff to ensure this resolution, and we have already taken steps internally to prevent this issue from recurring in the future.

Resolved
All services have been restored and are operating normally. We identified that there was a connection issue across our service, and as of 10:36am PT, a fix has been implemented and we will continue to monitor the results. We will follow up with an Incident Report within ten (10) business days including the root cause and steps taken to address the root cause. We have identified the cause and are working to implement a fix. Impacted services may experience intermittent failures during this period. This incident affected: Core Services / API, Web Interface, FTP/FTPS, SFTP, WebDAV, Background Jobs, including Sync and Webhooks, and Remote Server Integrations (Sync and Mount).
