On Wednesday February 3, 2021, Anaplan experienced a platform outage impacting users in our Santa Clara data center. This service disruption was caused by a series of brief network interruptions, preventing users from accessing workspaces hosted in this data center. Our engineers were able to identify an issue with a network device, and moved quickly to restore the connection to the data center. To mitigate the impact of this type of network issue in the future, additional alerting and automation has been put in place for prompt identification and corrective action. We are also working with our device vendor to prevent future occurrences of this issue.
