- Customers using BIM 360 and Autodesk Construction Cloud unified products experienced delays in uploading and processing files.
Root Cause
- Autodesk Docs’ backend service workers did not automatically scale up when upload traffic increased, resulting in delays for files that were waiting to process. After the team manually scaled up the service, the files were processed.
Autodesk Actions
Autodesk has completed a post-incident analysis of the event and identified actions to be taken. These include the following:
- Updated the underlying code to ensure that Autodesk Docs’ back end scales up under higher file upload traffic.
