We have found the root cause for the static groups issue and an interim fix has been applied.
We encourage customers to refrain from creating new static groups and distributing any policies/configurations/applications using static groups until the issue is fully resolved.

Investigating
A number of MobileIron Cloud customers on the http://ap2.mobileiron.com environment are experiencing a degradation to the service.
Site Reliability Engineering is investigating the issue and will provide an update or notice of resolution once we have collected additional information.
Currently customers leveraging static device groups are impacted and policies/configurations/applications may not be pushed correctly.
We encourage customers to refrain from distributing any policies/configurations/applications using static groups until the issue is resolved.
