On April 27th at approximately 08:32 PDT, we received reports of our customers experiencing issues accessing PlanIQ. Our engineers immediately began investigating and determined that there was an issue with the deployment of a new certificate at the time, which affected our PlanIQ services.
After further investigations, our engineering team found the root cause to be related to a misconfiguration of some of the certificate components during the update. They were then able to make the necessary changes to fix the issue, which led our Plan IQ services to be restored at around 8:59 PDT.
To avoid recurrence of this issue, we have made sure that additional documentation was added to the certificate renewal process. We are also working on improving our monitoring tools in order to detect these type of anomalies sooner in the future.
