Details: In order to fight spam and phishing traffic MTN network has the requirement that every message sample that is sent with Generic Sender ID is preregistered, they want to understand what type of traffic is coming from these Sender IDs and who is sending this traffic.
They announced that it is possible that in the future there will be mandatory content whitelisting for all Sender IDs, but that depends on whether the current initiative will bring expected results.
