Summary

On March 4th, between 13:12 UTC and 15:37 UTC, we had an internal incident that increased our manual check backlog. As a result, clients suffered degradation in their TaT for checks that required manual review.

Root Causes

The license of one of the software components used by our analysts to process manual reviews had expired. As a consequence, our internal documentation was not fully accessible.

13:30 Failing component identified and license renewal process started
14:20 License key renewed
14:25 Analysts report documentation features are fully restored
15:37 All backlog was cleared

Remedies

Automated alerts on expired licenses have been implemented.
