Incident Report for Braze, Inc.
Resolved
As of 1:45pm ET on December 18th, our team has resolved the error which programmatically archived Canvases on our US 03 cluster. Our team has since reactivated all impacted Canvases that were not manually relaunched.

Impact: From approximately 11:23am ET to 1:45pm ET impacted Canvases did not enter new users and, accordingly, those users didn’t receive downstream messaging. For any user profiles that entered the impacted Canvases prior to 11:30am ET, they continued to receive messages and progress through the Canvas, as expected.

Update
As of 1:13pm ET our engineering team has reverted the changes on several of the impacted Canvases on our US 03 cluster. We will continue to share updates as we make progress on investigating and remediating all impacted Canvases to their previous state.

Identified
We identified an issue on December 18th at 11:30AM ET in which Canvases on the Braze US 03 cluster have been programmatically archived. We are currently working with the relevant teams to assess the full impact and will share updates as we make progress on investigation as well as our steps toward remediating Canvases to their previous state. If you identify impacted Canvases that should be active we recommend that you manually re-activate those Canvases while we respond to this incident.
