From around 13:20 we can see highly unusual activity in one of our larger shop systems. This lead intensely high load on the databases in way that our operations weekend jour was not able to catch. We are very sorry for this. The consequences for our shops was that database intensive activities like add to cart and checkout was very slow. Fortunately this was highlight by our customers and brought to our attentions by Abicart staff of duty shortly after 15. When it was heavy escalated to our Head of Operations. Problem was finally solved around 16:10. As post incident, additional surveillance has been added and extra staff for manual surveillance Saturday evening and Sunday has been mobilised. We have also updated our routines around status update on our status page since this was not accurate during Saturday.
