Postmortem

The issue impacted a small percentage of email subscribers on one mail server. It was the result of a large account utilizing too many sessions that. created a spike resource consumption on the server. A diagnostic pull was performed which delayed the restarting of services thus increasing the window of time the issue impacted users. Our Engineers are working to understand the variables of the issue so that proactive measures can be taken to prevent similar issues from occurring in the future.
