Update
A new database master node has been provisioned and connections are starting to complete normally. We are in the process of validating that all infrastructure is available and recovered.

We have identified a major issue with our database. Our database platform provider has placed our cluster in emergency maintenance mode. We are investigating why this has happened and the expected resolution. We are starting to see some requests go through, however many are still failing.
