Identified
The incident occurred between 15:08 and 15:20 UTC (07:08 and 07:20 PST). Some customers may have experienced some missed messages on the subscriber side but those messages were successfully published and persisted (for accounts with Storage enabled).

For some customers, mobile push delivery could have been delayed, in US-East only, until 16:10 UTC (08:10 PST).

There have been no further issues for over an hour and we are confident that stability will continue however, we will continue to monitor for the next 30 minutes at which time we will resolve if there have been no additional issues.

Investigating
We are currently investigating an incident that could lead to some missed messages by subscribers in all regions and delayed push notifications is US-East. All messages are being received and persisted and can be retrieved from the Storage service.

This incident started around 15:00 UTC (07:00 PST). We suspect very little impact. Please report any impact related to this incident to support@pubnub.com with any details that you can provide.

This incident affected: Realtime Network (Publish/Subscribe Service, Mobile Push Gateway) and Points of Presence (North America Points of Presence, European Points of Presence, Asia Pacific Points of Presence, Southern Asia Points of Presence).
