Update
We have applied a mitigation to the coordination layer, and observe that deployment orchestration operations are now completing successfully. There may be a delay in the Elastic Cloud UI before deployment changes are visible. We are continuing to monitor the situation to ensure full service recovery.

Update
We are investigating an issue which appears to be affecting deployment orchestration (Create/Edit/Restart/Delete operations), potentially across AWS us-east-1. At this time it appears to be the result of an impaired instance in the coordination layer, however we will provide more details as they become available.

We are working on resolving some of the impact to the platform caused by the AWS service disruption.

Identified
From our investigations we've determined that some single deployment nodes in us-east-1a were impacted. Customers with HA deployment nodes were not impacted. The affected availability zone was AWS us-east-1, and we have confirmed status resolution from AWS. Single deployments nodes that were affected are being restored. The next update will be provided within one hour.
