Description: Flexera One - SaaS Manager - Scheduled Integration Tasks Not Executing
Timeframe: November 24th, 6:21 AM PST to November 24th, 7:48 AM PST
Incident Summary:
On Thursday, November 24th, at 6:21 AM PST, technical staff found that the Managed Application scheduled integration tasks were not executing in the EU region. As a result, some customers may have experienced issues accessing new data via Managed Applications and when adding a new Managed Application in SaaS Manager.
Upon investigation, staff found that the authentication service was experiencing network connectivity issues. At 6:47 AM PST, technical staff attempted to manually execute the tasks but encountered failures.
At 7:48 AM PST, technical staff restarted the worker nodes within the authentication service, after which the connectivity was restored, and operations returned to normal. In addition, health checks and monitoring also confirmed that the integration tasks were executed successfully.
Root Cause:
Analysis showed that the authentication service was experiencing network connectivity issues due to which the scheduled tasks were unable to trigger successfully.
