Postmortem

This issue was caused by an Internet Service Provider outage related to ProPay’s primary data center.

Impact was mitigated by re-directing traffic to an alternate site while the ISP addressed and corrected the issue.

Several action items were identified by ProPay/Global Payments teams to improve monitoring and mitigation efforts to reduce impact of future similar such events.

Resolved
This incident has been resolved. Amended impact timeframe where transactions may have been impacted is between 1:45am and 2:58am MT.
The root cause is still under investigation, but appears to have been connectivity issues external to ProPay solutions.

Service has been restored.
Transaction processing may have been impacted between 1:59am MT and 2:58am.
Our teams are continuing to review the nature and cause of the issue.
