Postmortem

On 16/07/2021 at 08:37 UTC we identified an issue with some Survey responses notifications not being sent, as well as a delay in Survey responses.

What happened?

Between 08:19 UTC and 08:27 UTC, Survey notifications normally sent to Hubspot, Slack and Segment were lost.

Why did this issue occur?

After deploying a change that was a part of our responses' storage migration process, we detected a bug that caused notifications to not be sent.

What will we do to prevent this from happening in the future?

We will hold an internal postmortem to establish any relevant follow-up actions.

Monitoring

We've identified an issue with some of our Survey responses notifications being lost and some Survey responses being delayed as well. Our engineers have already identified the cause of the issue and fixed it. We are now monitoring the situation to make sure everything is working as expected again. Thank you for your patience!
