On Jun 16, 2021 at 12:48 UTC our engineers identified an issue with Survey Filtering.

What happened?

With the right combination of filters, the filter operation would silently fail, producing error 500 in our backend.

Why did this issue occur?

The issue occurred due to a change introduced to Survey filtering.

What will we do to prevent this from happening in the future?

We will hold an internal postmortem and update this report later.
