The issue appeared to be caused by a power supply that failed and caused the switch to reload.

We have removed the faulty power supply from the device and will install a replacement ASAP.

Identified
Network engineers have been alerted to an edge switch in the Equinix SY4 data centre servicing dedicated servers that has reset unexpectably.

We are investigating with technicians onsite to identify the cause of this.

There should be no impact to services at this stage now that the switch is back up.
