Alert Notification Irregularities in the US Region
Incident Report for New Relic
Resolved
From 14:37 UTC to 19:06 UTC on March 15th, we identified latency on ingest for some data types including metric timeslice, synthetics, and browser trace data due to a network issue which prevented the timely processing of alerts. During this time, some customers in the US region may have experienced delays for these data types. To prevent our customers from receiving a high volume of falsely triggered positive alert notifications during this interruption, alerts were temporarily suppressed for applicable customers from 15:10 UTC to 19:06 UTC. We investigated and resolved this service interruption and impacted services have returned to normal operation.
