We would like to advise that we will be performing a scheduled maintenance on our internal infrastructure.

This scheduled maintenance will be carried out in order to perform patching on our vCenter servers. We need to patch all our vCenter servers to mitigate against the Meltdown and Spectre vulnerabilities. This remediation is mainly focused on enabling VM’s to be mitigated rather than vCenter itself.

None of these changes will impact virtual machines, however console and general management access will be unavailable during the actual vCenter server upgrades.

During this change, the customers will be unable to remotely manage their virtual machines, however native access via SSH and RDP will still function as normal and the virtual machines themselves will not be affected.
