Tableau engineers have successfully resolved the issue, and extract refresh schedule changes have been reverted back to normal operation.

Update
Engineers have confirmed Tableau Online users are not impacted by log in or viz rendering issues as part of the update provided on June 29, 21:57 UTC.
Extract refresh schedules are still required to run 4 hours or longer while engineers work to implement a complete solution to the underlying issue. There are no meaningful updates to provide at this time.
Content owners and site admins may still refresh extracts on demand through the Refresh Extracts menu option. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Tableau Engineers are continuing to work to fully resolve the issue. At this time there is a continuing need to delay hourly and every 2 hour scheduled extract refreshes to run every 4 hours. Content owners and site admins may still refresh extracts on demand through the Refresh Extracts menu option. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

In order to fully resolve this issue, Tableau will need to delay extract refreshes scheduled to run every 1 and 2 hours, to run every 4 hours. This is a temporary measure that will be reverted once this incident is completely resolved. Content owners and site admins may still refresh extracts on demand through the Refresh Extracts menu option.
